Neil Jennings as Ken in Men Behaving Badly: The Play

Actor

We’re delighted to share that Neil Jennings will appear as Ken in the world premiere of Men Behaving Badly: The Play, opening at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester in January 2026.

Written by Simon Nye and directed by Joseph O’Malley, the new stage play is based on the much-loved BBC sitcom and picks up the story on 31 December 1999, as Gary, Dorothy, Deborah and Tony prepare to see in the new millennium. With unresolved tensions bubbling beneath the surface, the play continues the story from where the original television series left off.

Alongside Neil as Ken, the cast includes Ross Carswell as Gary, Matt Howdon as Tony, Ellie Nunn as Dorothy, Tricia Adele-Turner as Deborah and Valerie Antwi as Eve.

The creative team features Alfie Heywood (Set & Costume Design), Denise Cleal (Associate Costume Designer), Adam Foley (Lighting Design), Amanda Priestley (Sound Design & Composition), with casting by Marc Frankum and dialect coaching by Zoe Littleton.

The production runs from Friday 30 January – Saturday 7 March, with a press night on Tuesday 3 February. Find out more at: barntheatre.org.uk/men-behaving-badly

Neil recently completed a festive run as Dame Bertha Goose in Mother Goose and the Golden Egg at South Hill Park after a year as Detective Pidcock in the UK tour and West End transfer of A Shoddy Detective: The Art of Deception.
