Michael Cusick has joined the company of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution, now entering its landmark 10th year at London’s County Hall. Michael plays Inspector Hearne, and also covers the role of defence barrister Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC.

Since opening in 2017, this immersive courtroom thriller has become one of the most distinctive tickets in London theatre, staging Christie’s twisting tale of justice and betrayal inside County Hall’s own historic council chamber – with the audience seated around the action as jury, gallery and spectators to the trial of Leonard Vole. The production was nominated for Best Revival at both the 2018 Olivier Awards and the WhatsOnStage Awards, and continues to draw audiences a decade on.

Michael joins a company led by Matthew McGivern as Leonard Vole and Sophie Craig as Romaine Vole, with Jo Stone-Fewings returning as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, alongside Crispin Redman, Jude Owusu and David Shaw-Parker.

Witness for the Prosecution is directed by Lucy Bailey, with design by William Dudley, lighting by Chris Davey and sound by Mic Pool. The new company begins performances on 22 September 2026, with the production now booking at County Hall until September 2027.
