Joe Wright will appear in the world premiere of his new play Heist at this year’s Camden Fringe.

Set in a near-future Dublin, Heist is an intermedial theatre piece that blends film, sound, and live performance to tell a story of desperation, justice, and rebellion.

Two self-proclaimed “Working Class Heroes” set out on a heist so far beyond their reach it could cost them everything. Against the backdrop of a city crumbling under greed and disillusionment, The KID and Lady B take one last shot at reclaiming what’s been lost – Dublin style. Running across two timelines, Heist also follows Sarah, who in 2025 calls into a late-night radio show to share her fears for her daughter, Ladybird, and the future of a country spiralling out of control.

Directed with cinematic flair, Heist promises a gritty, atmospheric and fiercely contemporary night of theatre.
