Tennick & Ramsay (Bethany Tennick & Iona Ramsay) are two exceptionally exciting musical theatre writing talents creating work that is urgent and powerful.

In 2024, their musical, Welcome to Serene, was awarded British Youth Music Theatre’s New Music Theatre Writing Award and the show was developed with BYMT and presented at the New Wolsley Theatre in Suffolk.

We are thrilled for Tennick & Ramsay as Welcome to Serene will be performed at the Tron Theatre in Glasgow as part of their Artist Development Programme, Outside Eyes.

Welcome to Serene is a darkly comic, satirical musical set in a strange coastal town teetering on the edge of collapse. It will be rehearsed and performed by the graduating cohort of RCS BA Musical Theatre and MA Musical Theatre: Musical Directing students.
