Melody Chikakane Brown in Sunrise on the Reaping

We are absolutely thrilled for Melody Chikakane Brown who joins the incredible world of Panem as part of the Hunger Games family.

Melody will be playing Hattie Meeney in the next instalment in the epic series, Sunrise on the Reaping, and we cannot wait to see her on the big screen in District 12 brewing up some white liquor.

Sunrise on the Reaping has begun filming and is scheduled for release in 2026. Until then, we hope the odds are ever in Melody’s favour and we look forward to her next challenge.

Casting is by Debra Zane and Dylan Jury in the US, with Cindy Lin assisting, and Verity Naughton in the UK.
