Melody will soon be seen in Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping playing Hattie Meeney, released in 2026.

Melody played the role of Okamoto in the 2025 Asia tour of Life of Pi. In 2024, she appeared at Soho Theatre in The Dao of Unrepresentative British Chinese Experience and in Chichester Festival Theatre’s Redlands. For BBC Radio and Naked Productions, she was the voice of Karen in the satirical Radio 4 drama, Money Gone and her work for Big Finish includes Bryn Forrester in Planet Krynoid.

Melody’s work in videogames, via our sister agency Jabbervoices, includes Black Myth Wukong and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (both for PitStop Productions) and an upcoming videogame recorded with Liquid Violet in London.

Melody has an outstanding stage CV developed over many years which includes roles with New Earth Theatre (then Yellow Earth), the RSC, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Watermill to name a few.

In addition to acting, Melody plays bass guitar and keyboards. She’s the ultimate rock chick and part of The Leatherettes, a trashy garage punk band.

Originally hailing from Yorkshire, Melody now resides in Hastings and is a keen horsewoman.
