Susie Riddell as Tracy Horrobin in The Archers

Actor, Voice Actor

Susie Riddell plays the unforgettable Tracy Horrobin in BBC Radio 4’s beloved, long-running radio drama The Archers – a role she’s brought to life since 2011.

Tracy is one of Ambridge’s most spirited residents: bold, big-hearted, and occasionally chaotic. Whether she’s juggling work at The Bull, keeping her family together, or leading the village cricket team, Tracy’s charm lies in her unfiltered humour and fierce loyalty.

Before stepping into Tracy’s shoes, Susie actually began her acting career in The Archers as a child, playing Kate Aldridge from 1989 to 1994. Since returning to the programme, she has become a fan favourite, known for her quick wit, tenacity, and memorable one-liners.

Beyond The Archers, Susie has appeared in Coronation Street, Grace, Gavin & Stacey, Emmerdale, Doctors and Saxondale. On stage, she has played leading Shakespearean roles including Olga (Three Sisters), Kate (The Taming of the Shrew), and Viola (Twelfth Night). She is also co-artistic director of Idiot Child Theatre Company and co-host of the podcast Limited Time Only.
