We are very excited for Stuart Armstrong whose short film, Meat Raffle, has been nominated for Best British Short at the 2025 Iris Prize.

The Best British Short is sponsored by Channel 4 and Meat Raffle will be available to screen on Channel 4 for a year after the festival. The selected winner out of the 15 nominees will be announced in Cardiff on Friday 17 October on Best British Day.

Meat Raffle had its world premier as an Official Selection at Bolton Film Festival on October 1st. It has also been nominated as Best Comedy in the Tees Valley International Film Festival.

Meat Raffle is a BAFTA-qualifying, BFI NETWORK-backed LGBTQ+ black comedy short film starring Michael Hodgson (BBC Three’s Smoggie Queens) and Dominic Weatherill (Star Wars: Andor).
