Following its initial London run earlier this year at the Old Red Lion, Miraculous, with Diego Zozaya as Paul, transfers to the Main House at the King’s Head Theatre in June.

Written by Luke Stiles – Diego’s LAMDA peer and former collaborator – Miraculous places two very different characters in close quarters: Josh, a teenage student brimming with arrogance, insecurity, and theological angst, and Paul – played by Diego – a young father wrestling with faith, leadership, and belief.

Set over a week of mentorship meetings at a Christian sleep-away camp, the play becomes a tense, funny, and unflinching exploration of sex, belief, doubt, and divine intervention. As the two men stress-test their convictions, they are forced to confront what it really means to believe in miracles – and what happens when faith begins to fracture.

Directed by Olivier Award–nominated and twice Offie-nominated Toby Clarke, Miraculous has been described as “a devastating piece of work” (The Peg), and its transfer marks a significant step for this bold new play.
