Rhys Jennings

Rhys is managed by JBR
Rhys Jennings is a lead agent at JBR Creative Management, where he represents a growing roster of actors across stage and screen. He is also the director of JBR’s sister voice agency, Jabbervoices, which he founded in November 2023 to champion distinctive voice talent across gaming, audio drama, animation, audiobooks, dubbing, and more.
Originally trained as an actor at RWCMD, Rhys joined the BBC Radio Drama Company as a Carleton Hobbs Award winner upon graduating. He spent over 15 years working in the industry as an actor, writer, and director before moving into talent representation.
Rhys began his journey into agenting as an assistant to J at Simon & How, later supporting the launch of JBR Creative Management in 2019. He began building his own client list in summer 2023.
As a writer, Rhys collaborates with composer Darren Clark. Their musical The Wicker Husband won the inaugural Stiles & Drewe New Musical Award in 2014 and premiered at the Watermill Theatre in 2020, returning for a second run in 2022. Their new project, TURING – a musical about the life and legacy of Alan Turing – is currently in development, and has been possible with support from Timelapse, The Royal National Theatre, Trinity Laban, New Diorama Theatre Broadgate, and the Peggy Ramsay Foundation.
