Ellie Pawsey is a York-based, Yorkshire actor. In 2025 she joined the cast of BBC Radio 4’s long-running radio drama The Archers as Esme Mulligan.

Ellie trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Last year, she toured the UK in Little Women in an adaptation by Anne-Marie Casey, directed by Loveday Ingram. After covering several roles, Ellie took over the role of Marmee for ten-weeks, garnering praise from critics up and down the country.

Earlier in 2025, Ellie shot the role of Hannah in a short film Green Man for Northern Fortress Films which is in post production.

She was an active member of northern-based Act4TV training from 2021 to 2024 and is now a part of the NGA Screen acting community.
