We are excited for Cecilia Young who will be spending the festive season working at one of the most beautiful theatres in London’s West End, the legendary Royal Ballet & Opera.

Cecilia is thrilled to have joined the cast of Ariodante as an actor in a venue she has been visiting since she was a child!

This production is the latest in the The Royal Opera’s Handel series. George Frideric Handel was born in Germany in 1685, but from the early 1710s he made his living in London, composing operas and oratorios, many of which were premiered in Covent Garden. Ariodante was Handel’s first opera for Covent Garden, and his only opera set in the British isles.
