Actor, writer and co-artistic director Zachary Hunt is one of the creative forces behind POLICE COPS, the London-based comedy company whose irreverent, physical and cinematic theatrical style has earned national and international acclaim.

He co-founded the company (alongside Nathan Parkinson and Tom Roe) during their time at East 15 Drama School, and has since helped build the Police Cops “universe” – from sketch shows to full-scale musicals.

As a creator, Zachary has written and performed in Police Cops: The Musical, contributing book and lyrics with Parkinson and Roe, and plays the lead role of Jimmy Johnson among other characters. His work with Police Cops has earned multiple awards, including The Stage Award for Acting Excellence and the Amused Moose Comedy Award. The company has toured across the UK and internationally, with sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne and Cape Town.

Beyond his work with Police Cops, Zachary’s credits include theatre and television. He appeared as Mr. Bowen in Waffle the Wonder Dog on CBeebies and has performed in productions such as Where the White Stops.
