Mark Milligan is a London-based actor and writer. He trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, following an English degree at Cambridge University.

Recent acting work includes a 22-week UK tour with The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, playing Ophelia and others in Hamlet, as well as the titular Star in My Pet Star at Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury. Most recently, he played Dromio of Ephesus in a double bill at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre — The Comedy of Errors alongside the new play Company of Rascals — a production that received strong critical response.

As a playwright, Mark’s work centres on queer storytelling. He has been a member of the Royal Court Theatre Introduction to Playwriting group and the Mercury Theatre Writing Programme. His play Plant Daddy underwent R&D at the Pleasance Theatre, and he is currently developing a new draft of Gay Godzilla.

Mark was a runner-up in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Award, represented Bristol Old Vic at the Sam Wanamaker Festival, and is a recipient of the Sir John Gielgud Charitable Trust Bursary. He is also represented by Jabbervoices.
