Meadhbh Lyons choreographs Anne of Green Gables

Fresh off her work on Dublin Gothic at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, Meadhbh Lyons will return to musical theatre in 2026 to choreograph the world premier of Anne of Green Gables, based on the classic children’s novel.

For over a hundred years the story of Anne Shirley, the feisty, imaginative red-headed orphan and her adventures in Avonlea has delighted readers all over the world. Anne of Green Gables is one of the best-selling books, in any language, worldwide and now her exploits will reach a new audience.

YaYa Theatre Company and Emma Wang Productions will present this new musical in a workshop performance at Sadlers Wells in 2026.
