Rebecca Crankshaw will appear in The Trials, by Dawn King, at Nottingham Playhouse, a co-production with Mansfield Palace.

Omar Khan and Hannah Stone co-direct.

In the future when air has become unbreathable, three adult Defendants fight to clear their names. They have been called to account by the generation responsible for the crisis that’s unfolding. In this thrilling tale of a dystopian future the Defendants are being judged by a Jury of twelve teenagers – those who are paying the price for the actions of their elders.

The jury will be made up of teenagers from Nottingham and Mansfield with Rebecca Crankshaw as one of the Defendants.
