BYMT announce Theo In Between

Composer, Lyricist, Writer

We are delighted to represent the writers of Theo In Between which will be one of the 14 new musicals presented by British Youth Music Theatre in it’s 2025 season.

Supporting and developing new musical theatre is essential to the growth of the industry and the artform and we are thrilled to work with BYMT who are the largest commissioner of new musicals in the UK.

We are very excited to work with Jordan Li-Smith and Gareth Mattey on Theo In Between. Inspired by Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring, Guy de Maupassant’s Le Rosier de Madame Husson and the seminal The Wizard of Oz, Theo In Between is a new musical following Theo’s attempts to understand what it means to be a ‘man’ and discovering their own unique ‘yellow brick road’ to understanding their gender in a small English town on the brink of the new millennium.
