We are so excited for Sarah Kolb who is filming the role of Phyllis Burford in new British musical film, Somewhere in England.

Originally written in 1987 for the Questors Theatre in Ealing, Somewhere In England has music by Gordon Caleb, lyrics by Caleb and Vincent McQueen, and book by Jean Caleb. In its original run it played a single week and was not revived until 2016 when original cast member Sheila Daniels produced a sell-out run at the New Wimbledon Studio. Now Sheila Daniels is turning this original British musical into a film.

A salute to both the great Hollywood musicals and classic British cinema of the 1940s and 50s, Somewhere in England is a step back in time to the summer of 1943, and the impact the arrival of a US army unit has on the lives of a small community in rural England.
