Despite being a Londoner, this marks Cranks’ first appearance in the long-running British soap. Cranks’ other work for television includes Grace (ITV), Doctors (BBC) and Coronation Street (ITV).

Cranks is no stranger to working with the BBC; She was a recipient of the 2021 BBC Norman Beaton Fellowship and has worked extensively with the BBC Radio Drama Company.
