Nic James as Troll in UK Tour of The Baddies

Actor

We’re thrilled to announce that Nic James, fresh from his energetic performance as Tony in panto at Salisbury Playhouse, will take on the role of ‘Troll’ in the upcoming UK tour of The Baddies.

Based on the beloved book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler, The Baddies is a wickedly funny family show that brings together the world’s worst villains—a Witch, a Ghost, and a Troll—in a battle of frightful tricks. But will their scare tactics work on a brave little girl who might just be braver than they expect?

The Baddies has been adapted for the stage by David Greig and Jackie Crichton, directed and choreographed by Katie Beard, with songs by Joe Stilgoe (Zog and Zog and the Flying Doctors). This delightful production combines puppetry, music, and heart to create a laugh-out-loud experience for all ages.
