We’re really looking forward to seeing Elizabeth Peace’s next producing project. As JBR Creative Management are based in Greenwich this is truly a story close to our hearts.

Born on a slave ship during the treacherous and inhumane “middle passage”, Ignatius Sancho was raised in Greenwich and made history as the first African in Britain to vote in a British general election.

Sancho’s poignant and inspirational life story will be fittingly performed at Greenwich Park as part of The Royal Park’s Greenwich Park Revealed project.

Ignatius! has been created by award winning composer Nick Bicat, writer Tunde Euba, directed by Angela Ekaette Michaels and is produced by Elizabeth for Tramshed.
