Stu McLoughlin is notable for his early TV appearance as the title role in BBC sit-com Clone and for his many years as co-founder, writer, performer, musical director and co-director of Living Spit.

Other television appearances include Little Dorrit (BBC), The Outlaws (BBC), and Waking the Dead (BBC). Films include Elizabeth: The Golden Age and The Deep Blue Sea.

Stuart’s theatre work includes Kneehigh’s Brief Encounter and The Wild Bride; Coram Boy at the National Theatre; The Odyssey at the Lyric Hammersmith as well as various shows at Bristol Old Vic and West Yorkshire Playhouse.

As winner of the BBC Carleton Hobbs Award in 2004, he has also been part of the BBC Radio Drama Company on a few occasions and has performed in a breathtaking number of audio drama productions and audiobooks. Stu is represented for voice work by Jabbervoices.
